Horse needs to move forward in a relaxed, confident manner eventually in all 3 gaits.  The rider need to demonstrate an increased ability to ride the horse in harmony with soft feel / light connection with the addition of obstacles.  The horse needs to demonstrate more balance while accepting a soft feel / light connection through the bridle.

This test need to reflect the Cowboy Dressage® philosophy of soft feel/light connection, harmony and partnership.  It exemplifies the spirit of the American Cowboy.

These tests are based on the CDW Challenge and PS on the Ground Tests. The rider need to demonstrate the ability to ride the horse in harmony with soft feel / light connection with the addition of obstacles.  The horse needs to demonstrate balance while accepting a soft feel / light connection through the bridle.  And then we ADD some utility elements that the working horse might encounter, to the dressage test, challenging the partnerships to negotiate and complete the tasks in the true spirit of Cowboy Dressage, as a partnership, in an enthusiastic and relaxed manner, with soft feel.
